Our Legacy

Dedicated to Cultivating the World's Finest Wholesale Blooms

Established with a vision to connect high-altitude Ecuadorian flower farms directly with global buyers, Rosie Farms Co. has grown into a leading wholesale exporter. Our fields are located in Cayambe and Cotopaxi, Ecuador, at an altitude of 2,800 to 3,200 meters. The geographical proximity to the equator gives our crops intense natural sunlight all year round, while the high altitude ensures cool nights. This extreme diurnal temperature variation causes the roses to develop slowly, resulting in exceptionally strong, thick stems and massive, rich flower heads that open slowly with longer vase life.

For more than 15 years, we have served US wholesale distributors, wedding event planners, and large florists, ensuring they bypass standard broker delays and receive flowers direct from the soil.

Our Vision

To redefine wholesale flower importing by making cold-chain fresh, direct-farm sourcing accessible and hassle-free for floral businesses across the US.

Our Mission

To supply premium-grade cut flowers cut specifically to order, using strict phytosanitary guidelines, temperature controls, and fast delivery channels.

Our Highlands Sourcing

Volcanic Soil & Microclimates

Why highland-grown flowers have superior characteristics compared to sea-level crops.

Cayambe & Cotopaxi

Grown next to snow-capped volcanic peaks, providing mineral-rich glacial water and soil for deep root systems.

Intense Sunlight

Equatorial overhead sun creates vibrant color pigments. Whites are crisper, reds are deeper, and pinks are brighter.

Thick, Rigid Stems

Cooler mountain temperatures slow stem growth, causing them to develop high cell density and remain rigid in vases.

Huge Flower Heads

Roses receive up to 12 hours of natural lighting daily, allowing petals to accumulate nutrients for large, heavy blooms.

Quality Assurance

Three-Tier Grading & Strict Packing Standards

Our Quality Control team inspects each bunch at three separate points before the box is sealed for air transit. This rigorous process guarantees you receive exact stem counts, consistent grading, and healthy foliage.

  • SOP 1 - Stem Selection: Roses are cut in early morning, placed immediately in hydration buckets inside greenhouse corridors, and transferred within 15 minutes to cold post-harvest rooms.
  • SOP 2 - Manual Sorting: Handlers grade stems by length (50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm) and examine heads for uniform aperture (bud opening degree), discarding damaged petals.
  • SOP 3 - Packing: Bunches are wrapped in protective corrugated sleeves and boxed in specialized export boxes. Pre-cooling is applied to remove residual farm heat before truck loading.
